EPL Betting: 3 Best Games To Bet On For Week 8

The English Premier League rolls on this week with Manchester City looking to get back on track on Saturday as they host Newcastle. But the real action comes on Sunday with another edition of the Merseyside derby as Liverpool heads to Everton, while leaders Manchester United travel to Arsenal in a top-four clash.

Newcastle @ Manchester City – Saturday, 10:00 AM ET
EPL Odds: Manchester City -527, Newcastle +1191, Draw +560

Newcastle got a much-needed point as they're in 19th after a 2-2 home draw with Chelsea, but they should see a missed chance as they were up 2-0 with 11 minutes to go. Newcastle is one of two teams in the league, along with Sunderland, without a win and now they head to City, who fell to second after a shock 4-1 loss at Tottenham. City has a Champions League match at home on Wednesday against Borussia Monchengladbach, so Newcastle will be hoping that they catch a tired team on Saturday.

These two have met six times over the last two seasons, with City winning five of six, although Newcastle won 2-0 in the Capitol One Cup at City last season.

Liverpool @ Everton – Sunday, 8:30 AM ET
EPL Odds: Everton +157, Liverpool +166, Draw +229

Liverpool is in ninth after a 3-2 win at home against Aston Villa and while Liverpool hasn't lost in four games in a row, they drew 1-1 at Bordeaux, where they sent out a weakened side in the Europa League. Then they needed penalty kicks to beat Carlisle at home in the Capitol One Cup, and the pressure is building against manager Brendan Rodgers. Everton is fifth after coming back from two goals down to win 3-2 at West Brom and they haven't lost in six games, which includes a 3-1 win over Chelsea and two Capitol One Cup victories. A win over their bitter rivals from the red side of Merseyside would send their fans over the moon.

These two have drew five times in their last six meetings, including both last season. Liverpool won 4-0 at home in January of last year, but overall, the rivals have been tight in recent years.

Manchester United @ Arsenal – Sunday, 11:00 AM ET
EPL Odds: Arsenal -103, Manchester United +259, Draw +252

United romped to the top of the league with a 3-0 win at home over Sunderland, and now they lead the EPL table for the first time in over two years. They have a Champions League match at home against Wolfsburg on Wednesday, while Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 loss at Olympiakos on Tuesday. The Gunners are in fourth in the league after a 5-2 win at Leicester City in an enthralling match, but Arsenal has a lot of questions to answer at the back as they prepare for their massive fixture.

Each team posted a win, a loss and a draw in three meetings last year, but in their last six league meetings, United has three wins and three draws. Arsenal's last win over United in the league came way back in May 2011 at home, and this game is much bigger for them than it is for United.
