Champions League Betting: 3 Best Games To Bet On For Tuesday's Action

The Champions League has been playing qualifiers since June and now we're down to the meat and potatoes of the playoffs. 10 teams are left to battle it out for the last five spots before we move on to the group stage. Here are three games for soccer betting purposes on this coming Tuesday.

Bayer Leverkusen at Lazio
Champs League Odds: Lazio +150, Leverkusen +180, Draw +225

Lazio finished third in Italy's Serie A last season, but they didn't have the best offseason, losing a slew of players and not bringing anyone in to replace them, yet they come into this game as a +150 favorite against Leverkusen, who have some solid young talent in their ranks and are listed at +180, with a draw coming in at +220. Lazio might be counting on goals from Miroslav Klose, who can still do a job at 37 years old up front, while captain Lucas Biglia is another player to watch. The away side from Germany, who finished fourth in the Bundesliga to get into the Champions League, are a good bet to win or draw, which would definitely put them in the driver's seat going back home for the second leg a week later. The player to watch for Leverkusen is forward Stefan Kiebling, who scores loads of goals, but can't break into the national team.

Club Brugge at Manchester United
Champs League Odds: Manchester United -400, Brugge +900, Draw +500

Brugge finished second in the Belgian Pro League, but they're going to be in tough to take on United, the third-place team in the English Premier League last season. Brugge, who are +900 underdogs, are led by captain and defender Timmy Simons, while midfielder Victor Vazquez came up in the Barcelona system and is very tricky. However, United have spent a ton of money on the likes of Memphis Depay Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin among others, while Wayne Rooney is back to being a striker. United are massive -400 favorites at home with a draw coming in at +500, and a draw would be something of a disaster for the English side after spending so much. Take them for the win.

CSKA Moscow at Sporting CP
Champs League Odds: Moscow -110, Sporting +320, Draw +230

CSKA Moscow finished second in the Russian Premier League and are strong at the back, but they might be getting more attention right now for off-field issues as their fans have had a string of violent and racist incidents in both the league and the Champions League, which can't help them in terms of focus. Sporting CP (Clube de Portugal) were third in the Primeira Liga last season, have a host of international players and again, the player to watch is midfielder William Carvalho, who is wanted by many of the big-name clubs in Europe. Sporting is a -110 favorite to win this match at home, while CSKA is rated at +320 and a draw at +230. Sporting knows they have to win at home because Moscow is an intimidating place to play and they need a cushion going back to Russia. But CSKA is well organized at the back and should hold on for a draw.
